HawkSEM is now looking for a bright, enthusiastic go-getter to become the next member of our growing sales team.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify new revenue opportunities across a broad range of U.S. companies that we are targeting as prospective clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our agency while gaining valuable experience in the digital marketing industry. It’s challenging and engaging, and the industry evolves every day. HawkSEM is in growth mode and looking for motivated, coachable sales people to eventually become Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients through various creative approaches and outbound sequences including emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Conduct 50-75 outbound calls per day to initiate conversations with prospective clients and qualify their interest in HawkSEM’s services.
  • Hold 6-8 discovery calls per week.
  • Drive ~20 qualified opportunities per month and secure qualified meetings for Account Executives on the sales team.
  • Continuously learn and effectively communicate HawkSEM’s services, position statement, “elevator pitches,” and differentiating factors.
  • Confidently talk through solutions with monthly deal sizes between $3,000-$15,000.
  • Consistently meet KPIs and deliver a steady number of opportunities created for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a B2B sales environment with an extended sales cycle.
  • Experience with sales prospecting tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Outreach.io
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet set quotas and expectations.
  • Eagerness to and remain knowledgeable on changes and developments in the digital marketing space as they pertain to HawkSEM’s services.
  • Experience getting past “gatekeepers” and getting key prospect personnel on the line.
  • Confidence talking with high-level executives and decision makers in prospect organizations.
  • Solid understanding of sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • An autonomous work ethic with a knack for working independently and finding solutions to obstacles.
  • Strong communication skills (written/oral) for prospecting/outreach and to coordinate meetings with prospects and Account Executives.
  • Excellent business acumen to quickly understand different prospects’ business models.
  • Working knowledge using CRM systems (like Salesforce) to input customer data, track opportunities, etc.
  • Knowledge of how SEM/PPC, SEO, and paid social media marketing works is a plus!

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50-55,000 base salary and $70-75,000 OTE.
