We needed to build a well-rounded digital marketing plan incorporating SEO, PPC, and social media marketing tactics to help MarcomCentral grow as an industry leader and maximize the visibility of its valuable educational resources on search engine results pages.

The Solution
Our idea was to begin a content marketing “Brand Series,” which tells the story of how famous brands came to be where they are today, with a specific focus on their branding and marketing strategies. These brands included lululemon, Liquid Death, Olipop, and Patagonia.
SERP features are a coveted space because they include extras like an article snippet, a “People Also Ask” section, and images These are crucial in diversifying real estate on the SERP.
A majority of the top-ranking keywords for these brand-story articles are highly competitive, making ranking in the top positions that much more impressive.
SEO is a long game, but it doesn’t have to take months to take effect. An intentional, well-written, and helpful article can be very powerful in producing quick results.
The Impact
Since publication, these articles have performed phenomenally. We’ve been able to secure top SGE search results for key queries that are very competitive to rank for, even outranking strong authority sites such as Wikipedia.
