With a vast selection of globally-sourced brands, Grayson Living also offers e-design services, and an exclusive trade program for industry professionals.

The Challenge:

Grayson Living chose to partner with HawkSEM to help them grow e-commerce sales.

They were looking to thoughtfully and strategically leverage and scale their marketing budget to attract more online buyers and to complement brick-and-mortar sales.

The Solution:

After assessing their website and online offerings, the HawkSEM team got to work to improve shopping campaigns as well as retargeting, feed optimization, display advertising, and cross-platform advertising.

After tweaking campaigns and creating custom landing pages, HawkSEM was able to help Grayson Living almost double their return on ad spend (ROAS), grow e-commerce sales nearly three-fold, and increase conversion rates more than 100% in the first year alone.

Rather than trying to improve ROAS at the same spend level, we increased ad spend, which resulted in significantly better performance.

The Results:

Feedzai came to HawkSEM for help with lead generation and growing their awareness, specifically via LinkedIn for time-sensitive campaigns such as a webinar or newly published article.

Since they’re headquartered in Portugal, increasing awareness globally was also important to the team.

The Solution:

To help the Feedzai team reach their goals, we started by gathering input about the top job titles and industries of their target audience. From there, we were able to create an ideal client persona that would be perfectly aligned with their software offerings.

We then implemented retargeting campaigns to grow conversions, and created LinkedIn campaigns focused on promoting various downloadable collateral such as white papers, along with offering free demos to see their software.

eThink’s marketing team is modestly sized, but their goals were big. They had new projects they wanted to get off the ground, but didn’t have the bandwidth to tackle them alone.

In particular, they were interested in addressing SEO improvements on their website. After working with a local partner that wasn’t meeting their needs in terms of results, organization, or communication, they knew they could find an agency that was a better fit. 

The Solution:

The HawkSEM team hit the ground running with eThink’s SEO efforts. After fixing hundreds of technical site updates such as broken links and missing page titles, we helped publish dozens of new blog posts, created 17 pillar pages, acquired a handful of quality backlinks, and audited hundreds of existing content pieces.  

These efforts not only resulted in ranking for hundreds of new keywords (nearly half of which landed on page 1 on the search engine results page), but they were able to see significantly more site traffic in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., eThink’s top three business territories.

Columbia Virtual Academy Leverages Paid Search to Reach Annual Registration Target 3 Months Early

Columbia Virtual Academy (cva.org) is a public, accredited, and tuition-free K-12 public education program based in Washington state. The academy supports parents as the first and most important educators of their children. By choosing CVA, parents and guardians across the state can customize an education that is right for their child, all with the guidance, resources, and support of the school and its faculty.

The Challenge

When the HawkSEM connected with CVA, the programs lacked in-house digital marketing experience. As a statewide program, they knew digital marketing was the most effective method to reach potential students and felt that their previous digital marketing vendor did not engage with their business as best they could.

The Solution

Our team completely restructured CVA’s PPC account with new campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ad copy, and ad extensions. We put a larger emphasis on keywords that had high intent or were directly related to CVA’s offerings. We also understood that there were many other similar terms not related to CVA’s program, such as “online college courses,” so we used Exact and Phrase match keywords to only bring in the most relevant traffic. Lastly, we created ad copy focusing on the program’s main features and unique advantages to help them stand out on the SERP.

Mommy’s Bliss Increases Total Keyword Rankings by 79% — No E-Commerce Necessary

Mommy’s Bliss (mommysbliss.com) offers a family of wisely crafted products for mom, babies, and kids that are safe, gentle, and trusted by moms everywhere. Founded by pediatric nurse, midwife, doula and mom Roshan Kaderali, the company began with a “magical” product called Gripe Water used to ease infant colic and fussiness in Scotland. 

After realizing it wasn’t available in the U.S., Kaderali made it her mission to bring the remedy stateside, and the company was born. These days, Mommy’s Bliss also offers products like probiotics for babies, immunity boosters for kids, and prenatal vitamins for moms-to-be, exclusively through physical big-box retailers like Target.

The Challenge

As Mommy’s Bliss grew, the marketing became more of an undertaking. Escape the Room Garners More than 4 Million Monthly Impressions to Maintain Top Industry Status

It’s a race against the clock to solve a series of challenging puzzles before your time is up! Escape the Room brings together friends, family, coworkers, and more to experience interactive, immersive games set in hyper-realistic situations with elaborate environments. It’s a fun and entertaining experience that makes participants put their heads together and think outside the (literal) box. Since 2013, Escape the Room has grown to more than 18 cities — and counting.

The Challenge

The team behind the live game and entertainment company wanted to keep growing their brand while expanding their online footprint through both paid and organic digital marketing efforts. They had the structures in place, but needed to optimize processes to take their digital marketing to the next level. That’s where HawkSEM came in.

The Solution

HawkSEM partnered with 16 Escape the Room locations to help manage their search, display, remarketing, paid social, and SEO efforts. After ensuring they had the proper tracking in place, we reworked a handful of key display and remarketing assets, helped roll out new ad extensions and location-based campaigns, and penned new ad copy to boost their clickthrough rate (CTR). On the SEO side, we helped them craft new website designs, publish new content, and added new SEO elements like meta descriptions and title tags. California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is a public university in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley. The campus is part of the California State University system and was first established in 1958.

With a total student enrollment of 40,000, it serves as one of the largest universities in California. CSUN offers a variety of degrees including 134 bachelor programs, master’s degrees in 70 different fields, 3 doctoral degrees, and 24 teaching credentials. 

The Challenge

The Challenge
