How it all started

On a late night in 2005, a computer programmer by the name of Sam Yadegar was working at Disney when he was tasked with the launch of a new software release. While driving home that night, he began to question:

Who am I helping?
What value am I driving?

A few days later, Sam found his answer while randomly searching on Google when he noticed that the first search result had a “sponsored” tag next to it. He hovered over the ad and discovered a future game-changer:

Wow! You can place an ad where someone is showing search intent.

He fell in love with the concept of search marketing, something that still rings true today. Through working with friends and family, Sam and his brother Rambod became exceptionally skilled and successful in this realm, thus
HawkSEM was born.

How it’s going

The HawkSEM team is driven, motivated, passionate about results, and stands by the belief that even a great digital marketing program can be better.

While our roots are in paid search, today we service over 250 clients in 30+ industries and provide a variety of digital marketing strategies that help clients connect with their online audiences and drive revenues.
