As a Paid Media Manager, you will become well-versed in your assigned clients’ business objectives and ensure that campaign goals and metrics are met using your successful paid media action plans. This individual will set up, manage, and optimize large ad spends for multiple clients, including:
- Keyword research and consulting
- Conversion rate optimization
- Reducing CPA
- Account audits + setups
- Campaign expansions
- Keyword bidding
- Budget management
- Performance monitoring
- Ad copy creation
- Image ads + landing page design direction
- A/B testing
- Tracking
- Reporting and client communication
Responsibilities
- Perform in a dual role as both the paid media strategist and account manager/point of contact for your assigned accounts, focusing on client gross profit growth.
- Manage and maintain daily/monthly paid media budgets for multiple clients to ensure each campaign meets the desired performance metrics.
- Fully understand client business objectives (e.g., generate leads/sign-ups, increase sales for key products, etc.) and translate this into paid media strategy and action plans.
- Report on key performance indicators and present results effectively to clients and senior management.
- Utilize internal communication and project management tools like Slack and Asana to streamline collaboration and track project progress across teams.
- Work closely with account Lead Strategists to develop, refine, and execute account strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and long-term goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other channel managers (like SEO) to maximize client success.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Web Development teams to ensure proper integration of campaign tracking codes across websites and landing pages, data accuracy, and any other technical issues that may impact campaign performance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of paid media campaign management experience using both Google Ads and Meta Ads, with proven ability to drive conversions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small and large advertising budgets across several different client accounts, running local and national campaigns.
- Experience with client-facing responsibilities, including daily email communication, weekly meetings, monthly reports, etc.
- Proven skills using industry tools like Google Ads Editor, Meta Ads Manager, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics 4, MS Clarity, and Google Looker Studio.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills, especially for client-facing responsibilities.
- Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability when there is no supervision (very important for a fully-remote team).
- Prior agency experience and the capacity to handle multiple ongoing projects and deadlines in an evolving, cross-collaborative team environment.
